Yesterday, my son did something nice for me. He borrowed my keys to run into the house, and when he returned to the truck where I was waiting, he handed them to me with the truck key already selected and separated.
That may seem like a small thing, but it was a gesture of going "above" what he had to do. To know that he thought of making my life just a little bit easier was special. I made sure to thank him so he could learn that "little things" make a difference to people.
